One of the things I took away from this movie is that death is not just about what the person who died wants. There is a grieving process for family and loved ones, the funeral is just as much about the dead guy as it is for the remaining family and friends who need a healthy way to grieve. Everything in Western culture is about me, me, and me ... what I want. In other cultures, the most important pronoun is us and the relationship between me and you.
