lmfao

The Liberal party has promised this in the last few elections. They obviously failed to deliver this and faced no consequences. They will probably promise this again in 2029 and the Revsceners here will fall over themselves to vote for it.

The pre-con market is dead currently. Not sure how it is in B.C. but in Ontario the pre-con market was much higher than resale with contracts that favour the developer and the risk is all on the buyer. According to the CHBA's panelists, more than half said buyers need an alternative lending solution to close. That doesn't sound promising for the future.

The housing crisis can't be addressed without reducing immigration sharply.

" Ontario saw the largest contraction, declining 38% over this time last year, falling 6,722 units, with Toronto falling 65% year-over-year for March. The decline in British Columbia was 30% or 3,234 units, with Vancouver falling 59% year-over-year for March."
