I used a B-Lender, specifically EQ Bank, to purchase my place. My experience was fine, we switched to A-Lender upon renewal cause the renewal rates at EQ were pretty bad. They allowed for lump sum top-up payments, or monthly top-up payments. For some reason they lumped property tax into the mortgage, but aside from that, no real bad experiences with EQ Bank.
