we lived in BC when my dad first came to canada in the 70s till 1985, then moved out east, then back again.
back in 1982 my dad owned a corner store, Florida Market on commercial drive. I was born the year after and we owned it till i was 2 or 3. We lived upstairs above the store. I was talking to my dad about the store today and so I googled it to see if i could bring back some memories for him. The photo I found was from 1985 which was when we owned it. Even the hand written signs in the windows are his handwriting. pretty neat find! it was sold many times over the years and eventually became the site of Moja coffee.
