He sounds a lot like my FIL. Window shopped for ages, spent all this time researching at all sorts of sportier EVs, ho-hummed about minor dislikes with all of them, then he ended up impulse buying a Dodge Ram of all things.
Meanwhile my MIL had endless justifications why she "needed" to get a 3-row Highlander hybrid, absolutely none of which have been relevant in the 4 years she's owned it, instead of just saying she liked the look of it. Which is a valid reason to get something, just be honest about it so we're not all wasting our time trying to help find other models with the same features you "need".
