sub $1000 sounds pretty standard for a trunk respray (assuming its just that, no repairs needed), not like he gave u a smoking deal. i would have no problem bringing it back. that being said the dust and area under the trim can be over looked, i would just ask them to redo the areas they scartched up from the install.
what was wrong with ur old trunk?
