Fucking hell........... I've always wanted to see a pitcher in MLB pitch an immaculate inning on live TV. NVM live TV, it has happened only 118 times in MLB history. Not as rare as a perfect game, but nonetheless, of all the teams, years, and games played, only 118.
One pitch away in tonight's LA Dodgers vs San Diego Padres game. The ninth pitch was just north of smack down the middle of the strike zone. The ump, for whatever reason, calls it a ball. I've never seen an umpire give a call that wrong.
