My BIL has been fixated on getting a Tesla after sitting in one earlier this year but he hasn't looked at the post-tariffs prices and when he does there's no way he'll pay that much, the guy is too cheap for it.

Here's a 2023 Tesla Model Y base RWD certified preowned direct from the Tesla website, 33,000km for $40,000 which is priced pretty low
You can finance it at 4.99%, just saw the listing now, definitely going to be gone by tomorrow.
The biggest downside is that you need to put down a $250 non refundable deposit, and it's sight unseen.
