Depending on when you are going, the OC Fair is starting in a day or two (OCFair.com) If time permits, maybe check out Newport Beach? Not the end of the world if you don't. Otherwise, not much to do in that area. You'll have to venture out.
Or maybe get yourself an American education at the University of California, Irvine.
