I swear Esso and Petro Can used to be Top Tier gas. At least, I thought they were!
(But right now, they're not.)
Practically all brand name gas stations have their own loyalty program. Once you take the loyalty program into account, Top Tier and value brands like Super Save Gas should practically have no difference in costs between them. In fact, with loyalty programs, I can probably get Top Tier (eg. Shell) gas cheaper than I can with Super Save. So I really don't understand why people bother with value brands.
