The guy interviewed said the exact same thing I’ve been saying, the DTES is just spreading outward.
Spent the last 4 days in Penticton, it’s worse than ever (surprise surprise) strung out homeless -everywhere- in the downtown core. People trying to use public parks with homeless people smoking crack at picnic tables, people on patios being harassed by beggars with shopping carts full of cans *thumbs up

I don't understand why you bother going vacationing anywhere in Canada? If the only thing you see and fixate on is decrepitude and homeless people? Why don't you just stay safely locked in your SFH preferably in your basement and arm yourself against the coming horde. The apocalypse is coming!
