I’m on a couple aeroplan groups on Reddit and Facebook and you’d think most of these people are “experienced” travellers but Jesus Christ.. people are fucking useless

Everyone is posting shit like “I’m stranded in Rome!! No one is picking up the telephone!! Please help!!

It’s like.. find another flight back home, and deal with the cancelled flight later ffs.. if you NEED to get back find a routing to get back.

I think the govt. was basically forced to do what they did because they’ve got Canadians all over the globe who are too dumb and useless to figure out a way back home.

I’ve said this here before and people got their oanties in a bunch but if you don’t have $10,000+ accessible, or at the very least you’re willing to rack up a credit card in order to get out of a situation OR you’re not flexible enough to spend a week+ stranded somewhere, man it is a risk relying on services to go smoothly on the other side of the planet.
