dude... such a great show - i ignored the reviews in the papers but glad i caught ur suggestion.
Wife and I watched and from setup, music, script, intensity, character building down to the suspense... everything just worked. I guess it did one thing right, cast a bunch of tier 3-4 actors / actresses to keep the budget down. Even thought I just only watched the 1st one, i'm for sure going to watch.
Big production and so glad Noah (director and also script writer - Legion; Fargo both directed and wrote as well) did it all together. It's set in 2120 so I like the setup on the female lead and how she's 'unique'. It does look like it was a huge production and thank GOD it kept the alien franchise alive even if it's a TV series.
Familiar faces - Timothy Olyphant (most famous was from Die Hard (Live Free or Die Hard - who did not age well esp with his white hair) with Maggie Q and then apple guy Justin Long. )
Thank god I didn't watch Squid games 3 over this.
