geez man i started working out to feel better and look better and now im getting fatter and that feels bad.
you need to be in a slight deficit in order to slim down. anytime a person works out without reducing intake, you'll just get bigger. your gains are literally pushing your fat outwards making you feel and look fatter than before you started working out. it's the same reason people tell you there's no such thing as targeted weight loss (ie doing situps thinking that alone will get you a six pack).
