During my last change to track pads, my car had "bent rotor" syndrome on low braking, when you hit the brakes, it would feel like the stop/go/stop/go every revolution.
It didnt make any sense because my street pads literally 30 minutes before did not have this.
Anyways, did 2 track days, blamed it on the rotors.
Today i changed the pads back to street pads. The warped rotor feeling is gone, even braking at high and low speed.
Someone riddle me how track pads would cause this?
Next up: why are my rotors getting eaten up on closer to center layer? You can see the slots are gone on the right rotor, and half gone on left rotor.
Lastly: how much rotor life do you think i have from the above "heat checks?"
The rotors looked nearly the same 2 track days ago.
I have new rotors on standby during track days.
Fourthly: carbotech xp10 and xp12 pads are dead to me. They got used up in 2 track days at mission.
Meanwhile EBC SR-11 pads have held up to 2 abusive mission days, and they are not even 50% worn.
5th'ly: only chewed off 0.1 seconds from mission 2 months ago
