I think if you watch clips of old couples talking about being happily married for 50+ years or read about them, you'll find it's much less about "what the other person brings to the table" or how well they compliment your priorities and more about not being selfish and working hard through difficult moments together and letting the other person be who they are judgement free.
That doesn't mean a free pass, it just means if you can't do those things for them or they're not deserving of those things, it's time to walk.
Honestly your described life vision is a single man's vision and there's nothing wrong with that. If I were in your shoes and I was as driven as you are, I wouldn't even be bothering to be in a relationship. It sounds like it's going to turn into a highly resentful atmosphere under the current circumstances.
