AI music seems fine when it's intended to be music as a commodity. Like when the intended purpose is background music that you're not really supposed to be listening to: informational videos, hold music, etc.
It doesn't sound like art because it's not intended to be art. Lacks soul. But that's fine, if that's not what the situation calls for  .

Thing is you can license music like that for hundreds, or less, and an artist gets paid instead of getting ripped off
AI will have its applications in the future; it will be pretty much needed as our population increases. But stealing art is the fucking stupidest use for it.
