The bigger question is whether the owner Aquilini will even allow a large scale rebuild of the team.
Who really has the ultimate authority and decision making power on the present and future status of the Canucks?
Will Aquaman give Rutherford and Allvin permission to trade away the core players of the team to start a rebuild?
Is the owner gonna accept making less money or no profit from a team that rebuilds through young players and draft picks?
