It's actually not that crazy - even the team finishing in 32nd place will only have a 25.5% chance to win the first pick. They are only guaranteed a top 3 pick
I can see the Canucks finishing last and then the team that finishes 22nd gets the first pick with a 3% chance (this is the highest a team can finish while having a chance to get that pick)
Then Calgary will get the 2nd pick, and the loser Canuckleheads will pick third. Just wait and see
