It's really going to depend on the person. The best seats I've ever sat in are Recaro sportsters, LX, LS, Speeds. Lots of people would find those horrendous for normal driving. If you like to drive somewhat aggressively, bolstering does more for comfort than cushion as it keeps you from being tense and bracing yourself. Some people need more lumbar support than others. Some have narrow shoulders and giant waists (hobz) or some have massive shoulders and narrow waists. You're really just gonna need to do some seat time.
