I know it sounds hasty, but nothing provides support like a dog. Especially a rescue puppy who can be raised to fit well into your living situation. We got Mona from wag in a pretty rough time. She was about 4 months old. We were in the deep shit of covid, struggling to handle parenting a 7 month old, lost our dog of 9 years to his third bout with cancer. Was a huge help and continues to be. |
Good suggestion, if I don't already have 5 cats at home (wife, kid1, kid2, real cat1, real cat2)
