December has been a disaster so far. We have basically been having at least 2 gatherings -- family or otherwise -- every week so far, and there is a lot of food and a sweets. I don't think I am necessarily putting on weight -- my last weigh in was more than a week ago, and I was still at my normal weight. But I'm sure my A1C reading has gone up by a few decimal points as a result of all this, and there is still another 10 days to go with multiple parties / gatherings to come.
As a result of all that eating -- and in particular, all the extra sugar intake -- I've been exercising more often than usual -- both resistance exercise and cardio. We'll see how that goes.
