Ok I'm usually the first to diss Megabloks, but their Pokemon sets were actually decent!
Now we have LEGO doing the same models, but for 3x the price. Makes my custom military sets seem like a bargain.
Don't get me wrong, the LEGO Pokemon sets look great, but the price is ridiculous. I guess that is the LEGO brand + Nintendo/Pokemon tax hard at work. Supposedly there will be smaller sets coming out, but also with very high prices for what you get.
