While Demko's shown he still has the ability to play (he's only 30), it gets harder and harder to bounce back each time he comes back.
I'm not convinced he's one surgery away to fix whatever issue he has. I don't know if this is an injury related from before, but whatever the case, it seems like he just can't seem to stay healthy, whether it's a new or old injury.
His trust as a starter is plummeting and unlikely any team will rely on him to be a legit #1 again. This isn't one of those "player needs a change of scenary" things. Everyone in the league knows he's good, but what good is that if he ends up playing less games than a typical backup.
