-have a legit complaint about the Costco pharmacy at the Burnaby Still Creek location. My goodness, some of the staff who work at that location's pharmacy are useless! Talk about incompetence.

-went to that Costco on January 17th to get a Shingrix vaccine shot. My health benefits from work gives me 80 percent coverage.

FYI, a vaccine shot at Costco for shingles is $175 per shot.

-went there in late December to set up an appointment on January 17th.

The new staff who was helping me for the appointment gave me a disclosure form to sign. "Fine, I thought". -filled up the paperwork.

-explained to the staff that my health plan information should be set up in their computer records for my appointment.

The new staff said "yes, sir. I will check your record."

Then the staff scans my membership card and starts the payment process for the shingles vaccine shot.

"Sir, that comes to $175".

I said "What??"

Then I told the guy "I have 80 percent coverage with my health care benefits" "Check your records again!"

New guy does not have any bloody clue what he is doing.

He asks another staff to help him. Props to the staff Byron for sorting out the issue with my health plan information on their record.

It turns out in late December when I went to this Costco to book my appointment, the dumbass bitch who input my health benefit plan number entered the plan number wrong by one digit.

That flip lady even asked me during that appointment set up in late December:

"Sir, did you write down the number 6 in your health plan number?"

"Yes, that is a 6." I wrote down the health plan number for her a second time on a Post-It Note to make sure she reads the health plan number correctly.

According to the staff member Byron, my health plan number was input wrong into their system.

Anyways, that lady almost messed up my health benefits coverage for a shingles shot because she typed in my health plan information wrong into their computer system!!

Thank goodness that Byron fixed their computer record.

I paid the correct amount of $38 for a Shingrix vaccine shot.
