I would say general costs for consumables should only be a tad more than your Acura. The only kick in the teeth is the meticulous maintenance / replacement requirements or rather, tolerances aren't as forgiving as your typical Japanese car. Cost wise, I would factor in double, or triple what you are used to paying for major service intervals. There are independents you can use and have some flexibility to defer certain items as opposed to the dealer.
Regarding reliability, as long as you are driving it normally, they are okay. It's when you hit the track is when they show their ugly side. This would be an awesome car to drop your kid off at school and afterschool pickup.
