20 years ago -- gosh that makes me sound so old -- I was taking my dates to decent dinner dates too. But then they were more like $25 - $30 per person, and I didn't have a 30 year mortgage on my back.

I'm just glad I can take my wife and kid to the food court for $10 - $15 a meal, and everybody is still OK with that LOL~

I don't know if there is a min set price. Every date and vibe is different. I have friends shelling out money for dates taking them to the keg, Cactus and none of them ever pan out.

Funny enough the one they married and have kids with are the ones that were perfectly fine going to Aberdeen food court or Wendys, or Mc Donalds.
