I feel like it's a meme at this point. Especially on Reddit threads where a bunch of pasty ass armchair generals in their basement are always commenting the same thing itching for the US to go to war with China:

2023: Israel pummels Gaza

2024: Trump is reelected

2026: Trump captures Maduro, attacks Iran
BuT WHaT aBoUt TAiWaN?
Plus Trump moving on Venezuela and Iran is a direct play on China since they import much of their oil from those 2 countries...well not for much longer.
