When I was talking to the Subie sales dude yesterday, he told me the Solterra is plug-and-play at Tesla chargers. But he said I would have to set up
SubaruConnect in order for plug and play to work.
Obviously I would take what the sales dude says with a grain of salt, and I haven't looked into this myself. But potentially, I think it would be worth Badhobz' while to look into it.

This is precisely the issue I am contending with right now. Do I want to spend $50k+ to replace our 10+ and 15+ years old ICE cars with an EV? or should I keep the $15k combined (if I'm being generous) worth of cars and spend that $30k on gas over the next 10 years?
