Yup, Ravens have backed out of signing twice in their history due to failed physicals. In both cases other teams picked them up, and in both cases they only lasted less than a season. One retired, one went to CFL and couldn't make the roster.
The way the Raiders are handling it is kind of fucked up, but I can see why they're pissed. They basically traded 2 firsts for Maxx Crosby, knowing he fails strict physicals!
The reporting on this has been fun.
I was hyped for Crosby, but worried all along that he has the bad knee and has had other injuries take him out for weeks. If they think he can't go, then I trust them. Other people are pissing their pants about it, but the Ravens have a reputation for being one of the best front offices in all of sports for a good reason.
