Some guys are seriously donating thousands to their favourite streamers hoping they'll notice them. I believe there are stories about men skipping out on rent to make donations. Some of them are already in relationships too. It makes no sense at all.
And of course, these girls are happy to take the money and then later complain about the negative attention. It's a double edged sword... "thanks for the donos!
" followed by "men are so gross, bunch of incels" etc. It's a vicious cycle
