No word of a lie that skit saved me from disaster once, blind date with some girl and conversation going okay circled around to inaccurate profile photos and I made a joke by saying “Yah ‘Lowered expec-tay-shuns’” like the intro and he was like “what? Is that a show?” And I explain to her how it was this mad tv skit with ugly or undesirable people trying to date and she like SNAPPED “oh I guess you’re all about physical appearance and shallow shit like other guys is that it? Good to know” and she got up and stormed out hahahaha
