-also went to the Auto Show this past weekend.
This year's show is better than last year's show because we had more car manufacturers at the Convention Centre.
Highlights for me:
BMW: The boys from Bavaria brought their muscle to the show this year.
The M5 Touring wagon is a beast! One of the Beemer staff opened the hood of the car to let people take pictures of the engine. 717 hp from the twin turbo V8 engine and electric motor.
0 to 100 in 3.6 seconds. All yours for$159,149.
If I remember correctly, this is the first time that BMW staff let people sit inside the M5 at the Auto Show.
Plenty of BMW SUVs. The iX3, X3, X5, and X7 were at the show.
Did anyone who went to Auto Show sign up for the BMW contests?
I signed up for the contest in order to get some free coffee at the M Cafe.
Audi: -saw Audi's F1 car on display.
Wild custom wraps for some vehicles: There was an RX Plug in Hybrid
with a custom wrap from Toronto artist Julia Prajza.
Another custom wrap on a GT-R for Red Bull.
Corvette ZR1: Impressive engine. 1064 horsepower at 7000 rpm.
233 mph top speed. 5.5 litre twin turbo V8. 8 speed auto transmission.
The ZR1 is a beauty.
Lamborghini under Dilawri Group ownership brought their plug in hybrid exotics:.
Blue Lamborghini Temerario. twin turbo V8 hybrid. 902 hp. Impressive high revving engine at 10,000 rpm redline hahaa.
Light green Revuelto: Over 1000 hp for the V12 hybrid. Base price $749,384
The demo model at the show is for sale at $982,871.
Local Ferrari collector Jordan Melville (his Dad was co owner of Boston Pizza) brought his Ferrari's to the show.
Daytona SP3: Sick car!
Ferrari 488 Pista
SF 90 XX Spider in green
SF 90 Stradale in green
Classic sports cars in the Horsepower Heaven exhibit:
1989 Lamborghini Countach. A beauty!
1963 Corvette Grand Sport Tribute
Modified 1937 Ford Pickup: 500 HP engine.
-noticed many interactive displays for people.
There was the beer pong game at MODE. Boo to the staff for not allowing a bounce of the ping pong ball to go into the cups for a chance to win Airpods!
There was an F1 simulator game and some sort of soccer exhibit there too.
CONS: Big thumbs down to Toyota.
Doors were locked for the GR Supra. Huh??
BMW lets people sit in their beast the M5 Touring wagon and Toyota won't let people sit in a GR Supra???
+1 also for Griot's Garage. The microfiber cloth and the detailing spay in their free swag bag are awesome.
+1 also for PG Performance. The bosses at PG Performance gave out licence plate holders for anyone who followed their Instagram account.
