u can spend 5 figures rebuilding and it still won't be as reliable as a nice used oem one.
1) frm liners - once the cylinder's cooked, no shop will touch them unless you remove the liner, bore it out, and reline.
2) crank bearings use some wizardry - to avoid custom-grinding bearings for each engine like Ferrari and F1, Honda does some bearing matching wizardry at the factory.
