Man, the tea washing thing!

I don't think it begins to be useful unless it's at least 60°C, and even then, lots of strains of bacteria and viruses don't get killed til that temperature's been sustained for tens of minutes.

Somebody would need to get the water way hotter than that if they're just gonna dip their dishes in there for a couple of seconds lol. And probably makes it way worse if these people weren't washing their hands to begin with.

Notably:
  1. Salmonella takes 6 minutes @ 60°C
  2. Hepetitus A takes 22 minutes @ 60°C, though only 30 seconds @ 85°C
  3. Polio takes 30 minutes @ 60°C, you could've gotten polio
