So the other night I was in Richmond buying BBT, I ordered on app because there was a coupon (obviously) but it estimated to take about 20min for my order to complete.
So I parked by the BBT shop entrance (there was kinda a lineup or just crowd waiting outside to pickup) playing my phone in my CT waiting. Suddenly, two young Chinese chicks (like college age) knocked on my window. They are the typical young Chinese kids today. Full on makeup with nicely done nails and the whole 9yards.
I first thought maybe they were from the cars next to me as the space was quite tight, at least on one side where it was a Range Rover and they might want me to move a bit. I lowered the window and they first asked if I spoke Chinese and then went on complimenting on the car is really cool blah blah then asked me if I was waiting for anyone.
I was like... ok... this is new. I said no. I was just waiting for my BBTs probably like the rest of the crowd there. Then they asked me if they could take some pics inside the car since they really like it.
I said yeah sure as it wasn't the first time. When I first picked it up, I let many ppl, especially kids at my son's school to hop on and see the truck. They hopped on, took some pics and whatnot and finally asked me if I had WeChat. I was a bit hesitant but then thought... well, wth... at least I can just block them if anything and I don't really share anything on WeChat and no need to be an ass.
Then I kinda forgot about the whole thing until last night when I was on the bed and browsing on WeChat Moments, I saw the chick posting the pics she took in my truck with the title "On date with someone with a really cool pickup, waiting for our BBTs".
I was like... da faq?
Lesson learned, don't believe anything you see online. Ppl would do anything to show how wonderful the life is. But... is it?
