The Super Bowl finalists may soon have a new No. 1 target.
Wide receiver A.J. Brown is tracking to be traded to the New England Patriots from the Philadelphia Eagles on or after June 1, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported on Monday.
By waiting for June, Brown's $40 million salary cap hit would be split between this season and next.
Still, "all the elements remain in place to make (the trade) happen," per Schefter.
Brown, 28, has compiled at least 1,000 receiving yards in six of his seven seasons with the Tennessee Titans and Eagles. However, he barely eclipsed the mark last season, with 1,003 yards, 78 catches and seven touchdowns over 15 games.
