Oh don't mistake it for people pleasing. I have about 8 friends, whom I've known for 10 years, and we still talk daily / go on international trips or road trips tgt / camping / etc.
I'm definitely an asshole to everyone else. Someone even commented the other day how I have a "heart of gold" yet I mask it by being an asshole hahahaha
