So, I tried a new-to-me place on the weekend. I had come across some posts on FB for local eats and decided to try the burger at Halal Meat & BBQ on No.3/Williams. From the outside you wouldn't think this place serves prepared food but they do.

Beef Burger (medium spicy) $11.99 (I think)

Flavour/Quality 8.5/10
Value 6.5/10 (obviously can't compete with Save-On or recently Mcd/BK/etc)

Size was perhaps a bit small but taste was actually great. I recommend against making it a combo, the portion of fries was comically little. Instead, I'd say bring your own drink and order the fries on their own for $4.99. The fries are actually good, they just didn't give you nearly enough for a combo.

Beef wrap (medium spicy) $14.99 (I think)

Flavour/Quality 9/10
Value 7.5/10

The wrap is pretty damn big so you're getting a lot more food for your money compared to the burger. The beef was moist and tender, some cucumber and lettuce inside and the sauce (same as burger) is good too.

Next time I'll try the extra spicy sauce and see how that goes.
