We were a 300k household before I got laid off and there's no way it's amazing money, or we are just doing something very wrong. There would be practically nothing left if we have to pay 5k monthly for a nanny on top of our mortgage. We were at a 175/125 split, and our take home was around 16-17k/m

Even at 350k, they would be taking home 19k a month, dropping 12k a month on two homes is ridiculous.

We are too broke to get divorced. I do joke that I can't afford to get divorced, but I can afford to die. I have enough coverage that my wife and kids would be taken care of.

Lesson to take home, don't get married, and definitely don't have kids.
