For what its worth my pig nose iX has no problem with any day trips due to its very good range and the new ix3 has even more range at epa rated 434miles. But even for long road trips Ill still use a gas car, hate the methodical planning for chargers and time wasted charging.

You are right, there's no stress, but I would not turn down a chance to charge cause the 45e was a pig on gas.
