i havent done it, but i should soon. i might just change the headgasket (to a new stocker) with ARP bolts in the near future, just to be safe.
its actually not that hard. i could have done it, i just didnt have the time. take off the 3000 pipe, coil packs, the different vaccuum lines, the throttle linkage, etc, then just remove the cam covers. you can torque them down with the cams in, they just have to be at top dead center apparantly.
i still want to know if i can just swap in ARP bolts without changing the head gasket at all. i dont feel safe torqueing the old stockers down, it would be a bitch to get them out if one of them snapped...
