Found this about MER. I got in at .17. Check out FEB. A yeast chemical company. Resolves quality problems in any food products that requires yeast such as alcohol (wines) and baking to even frying. They have a research program currently with UBC too.

Locked some profit in ERI-V (Just under 40%, Still looks strong)- Depth looks very good.

I wanted to catch the sell-off on the Tag oil warrants, insano. Commons were down 6%, but warrants were down to 25% at one point. Damn Anon buyer was scooping up everything in sight - the guy's got fast hands or....robot....

SD, KOK, GI, etc are just area plays and IMO, most of the times, it's just better to play with the big hitter.

just my opinion but there were a few reasons,

* Most were scared of the cheap paper that was to hit the market back in Nov/Dec.
* Less than expected initial drill results that were still good apparently but not the motherload some were expecting. The stock seemed to run up prior to the news and then fall in the following days after the release.
* The Mongolian Govt was pulling drilling licenses and this spooked some investors. However, MER was not one of the companies affected

I'm nervous about gold and silver prices....is this just a pullback or are they going back down?
I'm going on vacation soon for 2 weeks...I wonder how safe my longs will be..

Stop loss? - then again....if it gaps down past the stop loss limit, you're screwed.

I say sell the pennies...or sell most of it to lock in some profit. To leave penny stocks for 2 weeks without looking at them is asking for disaster.

I consider SLX to be a penny, because it does have a relatively low market cap & at 83 cents or so.

You're somewhat of a technical trader right? If you see what I'm seeing, Gold doesn't look good right now on the charts. Then again, It could be manipulation to get rid of nervous investors in many of the commodity-based stocks.

------

See tag oil....damn Anoy buyer for stealing all them 2.83 and 2.82 warrants. It would have been a nice day for me, if I nabbed them.

I'm bullish on silver and gold for 2011...I think there is still manipulation involved
Anyways, producers are still making more money now than 3 months ago..prices were a lot lower..
I like to hold commod. stocks and swing trade large caps...
I'll see what happens in the next week and a half...
-----
I need an oil play...haven't done any research on oil and how energy co's work and how they make money..

Gold hitting around 1300-1320 wouldn't be pretty on all gold stocks. Even if Gold stocks (producers) have been making record profits at a lower cost base, nervous nellies will likely pannick and sell if Gold hits the 150 ema and such.

And, this scenario isn't totally out of the realm.
