Remarkable comeback win by the Clippers! They were down by as much as 27 points. -heard the TNT announcer mention that it was the biggest comeback in the last ten years.
Nick Young had the hot hand with three 3 pointers in 1 minute. It was like watching a combination of Reggie Miller's clutch shooting and Ray Allen's 3 pointers.
CP3 in a post game interview with Mr. "Suitman" Craig Sager. CP has a good sense of humour, about Sager's suit. -love his competitive attitude and fighting spirit as per his comments in the interview!
omfg...biggest fucking facepalm I have ever done in my entire life right now......how the fuck do you let that happen? Fucking stupid. They could've held onto the ball for 24 seconds and gotten a shotclock violation on every posession and that would've made it less likely to happen...Fucking stupid.
it was a combination of bad coaching by Lionel "Fingers" Hollins and a sneaky comeback by Clippers, it was casually just over a 10 point lead nobody seemed like they were panicking and all of the sudden Young's 3 triples within a 20-30 second span was what blew it up...
it didnt help either that Grizz were low on timeouts in the second half
That was probably the sneakiest comeback I have ever seen in my life, Clippers are fckin ninjas

Great all around game by the lakers.. they shared the ball and are all on the same page.. none of this bickering eachother BS they had during the regular season. .. They looked fresh, ready and more importantly... healthy.
Bynum/Kobe/Gasol is deadly as hell if they are on the same page.. watch out now hahah

Random NBA thoughts (since no one at my work watches basket ball and i feel like getting things off my chest lol):
As a heat fan, i really hope that the celtics lose to the hawks. They seem to be the only team that I can see as giving them trouble on making it to the finals (unless Knicks upset them).
For the west, spurs and lakers are looking scary. When bynum is playing like a monster, lakers are hard to beat.
Not really sure whats going on with OKC, it almost seems they might have the same issue as last season.. If durant cant score, westbrook will start to take over and go 1 on 5.
Im curious to see where d.will, and nash will land for next season.
Rondo suspended 1 game.
If the Hawks end up beating the Celtics, I think the Bulls have a legit shot at beating the Hawks even without Rose.
BTW, I see D-Will in Dallas next season and Steve Nash won't go anywhere that can't pay him a legit amount...He will not sign for a discount as he thinks he can continue playing at a high level for another 5 years.
Check out this calculation I did to summarize how stupid the Grizzlies are for blowing a 28 point lead with 8 minutes to go:
Take the following scenario in which the Grizzlies use their offensive possessions to get a 24-second shot-clock violation on every trip up the floor for the last 8 minutes at which point they were up by 24 points.
Clippers wouldn't use the entire 24 seconds to get up a shot; they'd shoot it at between 15-20 seconds most often, so let's say an average of 17.5 seconds - keep in mind their would be no fast breaks because of the shot-clock violation stopping play every time.
Anyway, if the Clips take 17.5 seconds to shoot and the Grizz take 24 seconds, that means that the Grizz would have the ball nearly 60% of the time remaining.
That means clippers would have the ball for 40% of the last 8 minutes
40% of 8 minutes is 3.2 minutes, or 3 minutes and 12 seconds.
They would have 3 minutes and 12 seconds to score 24 points in order to tie the game.
That's 192 seconds
192 seconds divided by 17.5 seconds per possession = 11 possessions.
If the clippers scored a 2 pointer on each one of their possessions, they would score 22 points.
The grizzlies would still be up by 2 points, and the likelihood of the Clippers converting on 100% of their possessions up the court is VERY unlikely.
I don't think Nash is playing for money at age 38, he's made it pretty clear these last few seasons his primary concern has been chips.
You never know though, so I hope he doesn't resign with Phoenix
Yea bad call.or not, you just can't bump a referee like that, anytime contact with ref its almost always an automatic suspension, especially since they tightened the rules
as for the rondo bump, you guys think if it wasnt for the bump he still be suspended? I thought the bump was accidental from the replay
@mozo
I dont see boston beating miami in a 7 game series. They probably steal a game or 2.
Obviously if he didn't bump into the ref, there wouldn't have been any suspension. It could be argued that it was his momentum due to the trip that caused Rondo to bump into the ref, but clearly Stu Jackson wasn't buying that, hence the suspension. It's possible that the fact that Rondo has had a similar experience in which he threw the ball at a ref caused Stu Jackson to not give Rondo the benefit of the doubt.
G-spec: did you have problems finding the white LBJ9 elites? I just spotted them at Sportschek Eaton Centre Toronto for $299.
I took a picture. Will post it up later. Let me know if you want me to bring them back. I return this Wednesday.

Miami looks like such a different team in the playoffs; Wade/LeBron/Bosh just look so bored during the regular season...
