Man.. As a canadian, I want to see the raps do well.
But as a sonics fan that hates okc, I am extremely nervous that okc will creep into the final and take advantage of a good situation with timing on their side.
Rooting for GS to come back and elminate okc, if not, I hope cavs make it into the final with no injury to their big 3.
DeRozan is actually playing pretty well this series, if Lowry can stay consistent and JV can make a positive impact, it's going to be a good series. Let's just hope they don't continue their trend of shitting the bed after a couple good games.
How that can be considered an 'accident' in any way shape or form blows my mind. WTF the league definitely plays preferences... just because Green is a "big name"
Valenciunas' chance of playing in game 4 is a game time decision at the end of the warm up. -would be a huge lift for the Raps if JV can play limited minutes tonight.
JV suited up but didn't play a single minute. It's gonna be interesting how they are going to utilize him now that BB has stepped up in a big way... will they make JV the catalyst of the 2nd unit?
That actually might make more sense because the starters already have Lowry and Derozan, they should use BB's defense and JV can bring offense off the bench when the all-stars rest.

Who would have thought Beastmack would develop into such an important piece of the team? I'll admit I thought he was a waste of a roster slot when Raps picked him up after missing out on the LaMarcus sweepstakes but he has proven to be a defensive anchor and he's still improving.
Now the Raps have a new problem because he has a player option next year and for sure he will opt out to re-sign a much bigger contract. Can the Raps afford to keep him?

Ehh... I dunno about that. He was super lucky the rest of the team scraped out some important wins. He's a very good player but I'd still take VC
I believe the "Road through the playoffs" is very important!
- Spurs decimated a broken Grizzlies team then lost taking on the dynamic duo of KD and Westbrook.
- Warriors crushed a disinterested and dysfunctional Rockets team, took out Portland that showed tons of heart but just not enough talent to compete.
- GSW are struggling with a battle-tested OKC team riding high off beating the 67-win Spurs.
- Raptors struggled but persevered through 2 grueling 7-game series. Well well now they are tied 2-2 against the heavy-favourites Cavs who cruised 9-0 through the playoffs so far.

VC took us to playoffs twice (2001 & 2002) and he sat out vs. Detroit in 2002. Everyone only sees the dunks and thinks he's the greatest Raptor because of it. Sure he brought us into the limelight, but that didn't last very long. VC never played with as much heart as Lowry. Look into what Lowry has achieved during his time here and there is no question that he is the GOAT Raptor.
As of now, Westbrook has my vote as the early favorite to be the NBA Finals MVP if OKC advances to the final and wins a championship.
Dominating performance by Russell. Another triple double for the bulldog. FYI, MJ and Oscar Robertson had 8 triple doubles in their playoff careers compared to three for Westbrook.
Dumbass reporter was trying to fish for information in order to put blame on some of the Raptors players for the loss. Doesn't this idiot realize that pro athletes have a different work schedule than many people? Pro athletes want to minimize the amount of hours that they are awake prior to a game.
Blaming a 40 point blow out loss on players going to a casino for some late night fun??
The Raptors are playing down a late-night visit to a Cleveland casino by two players on the eve of a blowout loss, saying NBA players have a different schedule than most.
DeMarre Carroll and Cory Joseph were seen in a casino near their hotel just before 2 a.m. Wednesday. Later that day, the Raptors were hammered 116-78 by the Cavaliers in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference finals.
Toronto guard DeMar DeRozan called the fuss about the story crazy, saying he was up until 4 a.m. in his hotel room that night watching "Batman versus Superman: Dawn of Justice."
Raptors coach Dwane Casey says the two players are adults, weren’t drinking and broke no laws.
He says his concern was not the players' late-night walkabout but "getting our butt kicked."
As for the two players in question, they say the story was overblown.
Joseph says he still got plenty of sleep ahead of the game. Carroll says the reporter who wrote the story was "fishing a little bit."
If the Raps force a game 7, they need to somehow solve the Cavalier's defensive adjustments on Lowry. They are double teaming K-Low and making it difficult for him to attack the basket.
Biyombo is being used to guard against the 3 point shooters like JR Smith. No Biyombo in the paint means no rim protection. Easy dunks for LeBron and company.
Raps also need to play lockdown defence on Kyrie and Kevin Love and move the ball up court much faster.
If Valenciunas can play more minutes, he could provide the much needed offence as the third scoring option.
C'mon Raptors, pull out a win in the Six!
