The number of shots Toronto made was equivalent to the number of goals Boston made
More or less.... LOL

I keep getting the feeling that this is something so crazy, it just might work.
Seriously, how would they even know? There's no way they could prove this unless they...I don't know...DNA tested them after games.
Pictures? Seriously, unless you're a hardcore Canucks fan, you can't tell the Sedins apart. I can...but I'm one of the aforementioned hardcore...and even then it's a struggle sometimes, especially when they're wearing their helmets.
The +/- stat isn't perfect, but over a longer course of a few seasons it certainly shows trends of how a player plays the overall game. There's no reason other elite teams couldn't destroy the bad teams and inflate their own +/- in the process, but its just not that easy to do in today's league. Maybe Boston caught a bunch of lucky breaks this season and blew out multiple teams. IMO owning 6 of the top 7 in the NHL in any stat isn't something you can just dismiss and brush-off. I'm willing to give credit where its due.
Actually I'm surprised there isn't more conversation going on about Daniel's break. First, the shot didn't really look concussion worthy, as it was a side swipe to the jaw. You never know I guess.. but then he went to the 'quiet room' where he would have been strictly evaluated. They deemed it OK for him to get back into the game... After 1 shift, he left the game, holding his jaw (not really a concussion symptom).
I'm pretty sure that's not the sequence of events that occurred.
After the hit, he went to the bench, went back on the ice on the power play, but then after that shift, went to the quiet room.
I'm pretty sure there wasn't enough time for him to go to the quiet room and be back in time for the same power play.
TORONTO, ONTARIO (AP) - A seven-year-old Toronto, Ontario boy was at the center of a Toronto city courtroom yesterday when he challenged a court ruling over who should have custody of him. The boy has a history of being beaten by his parents and the judge initially awarded custody to his aunt, in keeping with child custody law and regulations requiring that family unity be maintained to the degree possible.
The boy surprised the court when he proclaimed that his aunt beat him more than his parents and he adamantly refused to live with her. When the judge then suggested that he live with his grandparents, the boy cried out they also beat him.
After considering the remainder of the immediate family and learning that domestic violence was apparently a way of life among them, the judge took the unprecedented step of allowing the boy to propose who should have custody of him.
After two recesses to check legal references and confer with child welfare officials, the judge granted temporary custody to the Toronto Maple Leafs, whom the boy firmly believes are not capable of beating anyone.
its legit. i know people who have ordered off them.
