That's how I felt when I bought a new house in Walnut Grove back in 1980. If there's one or two Asians in the community, no issues. When you have ten or more, then not so much. From what I hear, Walnut Grove isn't as white as it used to be. As a side note, I don't think I've ever seen South Asians there.............. even now. I wAnder why?

Happy first day of school!

Though I haven't been to post secondary in about 15 years.

Came across this

Numbers may differ in Canada but wow, I'm glad I don't go to school anymore. Feel bad for all the people who just want higher learning but graduate with aneurysms instead.

Bear cub spotted by Coquitlam West Coast Express platform - NEWS 1130

not sure sure how close the tree is to the platform, but looking at the angle people are holding their phone, it doesn't look too far off.
Who cares if mother bear is near by, gotta post the picture on my FB!

That's some kinda patience. I'd have expected him to walk away. Hell, I'd forgive him if he fucking RKO'd that cunt through a table or two.

Fun fact he was a wrestler, trained in martial arts and he thought about turning pro.

He is also banned from entering India because he goes after them on human rights abuses.

Teachers/schools/textbook companies found a way around that now. They just require you get a access code for a "online" part of the class. You can't buy a access code without the e-text. End up needing to get the package with etext and access code for just almost the same money as a hardcopy with the code.

Did McDonald's recently introduce XL size cup (for hot drinks like coffee)?

I used to buy coffee all the time from McD and I could have swore they never had a XL size before...

Cup does look a little bit taller, but I don't have an old large size cup to compare with.

I just got back from Costco in Bellingham. No such thing in their system. I spelled it out for her one letter at a time. She wasn't the brightest light on the porch. I asked person who stocks the shelves in the booze section and he says same thing. I have them look it up again. No such thing. I ask them about all other stores from here to Seattle - no luck.

I said, "It has got to be in your system. The Internet says so......... Who? she says. I then replied with, "Revscene!" She goes, "What? It's some kind of Asian, Rice Boy website?" I went then stopped arguing right there and then, Gulolol.

I will go to Stongs to look for them...........

I've used ones that were expired for almost 2 years and they took them. They had to get a supervisor to override though. The guy at the checkout said he's seen some that are over 5 years expired and they still take them.

I used one that was expired at the end of August at the automated machines at Riverport and it took it as well.
