Questions for all those making vinyl stickers:

Which brand and model of plotter/cutter are you guys using?

How is the maintenance on them?

Also, where did you buy them from?

^ the one I have access to (not mine) is a Graphtech 5000. I believe it was purchased through Laird Plastics in Langley. Made in Japan goodness. Not one for the casual user because of the cost, but if starting a business on the side, this is a pretty good one. $2, 500.00 with stand, I believe. Can handle 24 inch wide media, so you can even make pretty big banners and whatnot.

Dayum...thats pretty ballin'. I'm looking to get a desktop-sized unit, preferably around $250 or less. I'm planning to make small - medium sized cuts, no banners for me.

Also, I did some googling and found some really cheap plotters by "USCutter". I wish I could get one of theirs locally...

GASOLINE a Buck a Litre

Quote:
If you drive and live or work in Richmond this is a great opportunity to save money. I am only taking on another 100 or so customers, so first to e-mail with their phone number will get the deal. The gas comes from the states and is 89 grade. I am able to meet you anywhere in Richmond in my truck and fill your tank up up faster than a gas station with an 80 Litre/minute pump. The meter will tell you exactly how much gas has been pumped. Only taking on a limited amount of customers; please e-mail with your phone number if interested.

if you think a normal gas pump pumps an average of 36litres a minute. I would not trust some random guy with a pump and would never trust the gas in a second. Watch the meter is pushing air!!

Saw this little conversation on my Facebook news feed, made me lol.

Quote:
Friend: Had a fantastic Earth Hour

Idiot: That s funny. Getting the message out via Social Media created more damage to the Planet than a non-observance of said hour would have done. Y'all need to rethink your medium and delivery. =-D

Friend's Friend: So help us out dude and tell us what your doing to help the planet.

Idiot: Don't EVER call me "Dude", (Most especially NOT to my face. Where I come from a "Dude" is no better than a nigger and I detest ALL whom use either term - got that, Dumbass?) - you sincerely will not like my reaction. At all, at all.

I recycle, I forsake, I provide, I care. I tithe more salary to the poor and the environment in one year than you could in 150 years.

If that is not enough for you - well, then it sucks to be you, and you are simply NOT doing enough.

So bite me.

Friend's Friend: I just asked!! You obviously have the class of a Pickton family member. I detest people whom put others down for the sake of there own ego. As far as your reaction is concerned who on this earth would possibly give a damn least of all me.

Idiot: You asked a serious question and I gave a serious answer. Don't like the response, don't ask the question. You want to challenge someone, especially a Veteran - be prepared to be challenged back, and in spades. Or as we used to say: Prepare to defend yourself!

I have met and know the Pickton family. Your use of their name in your response shows that you are fully inarticulate and incapable of championing the very quest you "supposedly" represent.

Sound-like to me that you do what you do to get out of being socially responsible and socially contributing. But then, that's just me.

Jeez..50 000 for that rusty van with popped rear tire. Good thing Kurt Cobain drew on it..it increased the van's value by 49 900 dollars
