Corrollas get really high salvage value because they are reliable vehicles and rebuilders can easily fix them and turn them around for a profit. Which makes they easier for a total loss
it wasn't even serious enough of accident to injure me ...so that is why i am wondering how did it sustain so much damage
For crash safety, modern cars are made to absorb the energy of a collision. While absorbing, the energy has to go somewhere; therefore, parts break apart to mitigate the force.
Let me put this into perspective. These are just the cospetic parts, the ones you can see from this photo. You are missing many clips, screws, and other small items. Not to mention, it will likely need new suspension components with a hit like that.
So your looking at $4954 in easily to spot and quote parts on a 10k car. Its dead.
