I spent the last day on the GS500 at PRS, loved the low-end torque.

they let me use that bike tonight for my first road ride...i felt 10x more comfortable on that bike then i did on the sherpas!!! hopefully ill get to use that bike again on saturday!

the first bike i learned on was a TL1000S soo...that is not true...for most people, i think they would get themselves killed on that bike.

Go early on Saturday, ask them if you can ride it.
Make sure you sign up for the Class 6 refresher course for 50 bucks or something... it's worth it and will save you the time.
